中国地震学会地震地质专业委员会第二届委员会于1985年5月7日在河南省郑州市召开第一次会议。会上首先由本届委员会主任马宗晋宣布了由35人组成的委员会名单。会议的主要目的是讨论地震地质工作近年来的国内外现状和发展趋势,结合当前国内的地震工作任务,安排今后四年内本届委员会的学术活动。与会同志认为:①学会要在国家经济建设的对策中和科研组织选题中发挥参谋咨询作用;②学会是会员之家,学会活动要贯彻“双百”方针,自由交流学术思想,有计划地组织一些不同观点的争鸣,促进本学科的发展,
The Seismological and Geological Professional Committee of the Seismological Society of China held its first meeting on May 7, 1985 in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. At the meeting, Ma Zongjin, the director of the current session, first announced a list of 35 members. The main purpose of the conference is to discuss the current situation and development trend of seismology and geology in recent years at home and abroad and to arrange the academic activities of the current committee within the next four years based on the current tasks of earthquakes in the country.
