American country music is one of the most widely accepted and enormously influential forms of music in the world. Many Chinese and foreign scholars have carried out research on it. However, there are few studies on the current situation of American society from the study of different periods of country music. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the three current American genres: early country music, bar music and country rock music, to interpret the current social status quo. It can be seen from the analysis that the American country music truly and vividly reflects the social conditions in the United States.
