从贵州省环保局了解到,“十一五”期间,贵州省将建立健全饮用水源安全预警制度,定期发布饮用水源地水质监测信息。2007年底,这个省将完成县级城镇集中式饮用水源地保护区划定工作,并加强饮用水源地环境保护,严格控制有毒有害物质进入饮用水源保护区,强化水污染事故的预防和应急处理,防止养殖业和其他污染,解决农村饮水安全问题。
