[诊疗及住院人数增加]2004年全国医疗机构诊疗人次达22.0亿人次,与2000年比较,全国医院诊疗总量增加0.5亿人次,医院住院人数增加1217万人。过去五年,我国医院门诊人次呈波动性增长,住院人数则持续递增。非营利性医院诊疗人次及住院人数占医院工作总量的95%以上,政府办医院占80%以上。2004年东部地区医院工作量是西部地区的2倍。
[Increased number of medical treatment and hospitalization] In 2004, the number of medical clinics in the country reached 2.2 billion. Compared with 2000, the total number of hospitals and clinics in the country increased by 50 million and the number of hospitalizations increased by 12.17 million. Over the past five years, the number of hospital outpatient visits in our country has fluctuated and the number of inpatients has continued to increase. The number of non-profit hospital clinics and hospitalizations accounted for more than 95% of the total work of the hospital, the government-run hospitals accounted for more than 80%. In 2004, the workload of hospitals in the eastern part of the country was twice that of the western part.
