安藤忠雄在《追寻光与影的原点》一书中曾写道,“我上初二的时候,家里的长屋改建成两层,看到年轻工匠专注于工作的状态,我深受感动,由此对建筑产生了很大的兴趣”。看似这位伟大的建筑诗人是因为受匠人的感染而与建筑结缘,然而细读全书,才悟出其中奥秘,“当木匠把房顶拆开,犹如黑暗洞穴的狭长空间里,刹那间泻进一束光,那光感强烈而美好……”自然之光为黑暗的空间注入了生命,也触动了安藤对建筑的情愫。
