日前,“云南寻甸县三元庄小学纵火案”引发的民事诉讼在寻甸回族彝族自治区法院开庭审理。在火灾中丧生的8个男孩的父母状告寻旬县羊街镇教育管理委员会、寻甸县教育局和三元庄小学,要求三被告共同赔偿损失共计352万元。巨额的赔偿请求在国内实属罕见。原告席上坐的是8名男孩的父亲,旁听席上坐着孩子的母亲,他们都是寻甸县羊街镇的普通农民,他们请不到律师,只好用朴实的语言与被告方展开辩论。
Recently, the Civil Procedure Caused by the Arson Case of Sanyuanzhuang Primary School in Xundian County of Yunnan Province has been held in the courts of the Xundian Hui and Yi Autonomous Region. The parents of 8 boys who died in the fire sued Xunjie Sheepjie Town Education Administration Commission, Xundian County Education Bureau and Sanyuanzhuang Primary School, requesting the three defendants to jointly compensate for the loss totaling 3.52 million yuan. Huge compensation claims are rare in China. Sitting on the plaintiff was the father of eight boys, the mother of the children sitting there while they were ordinary peasants in Shezhen, Xundian County. They could not get a lawyer and had to start a debate with the defense in plain language .
