The 2nd Symposium of Superconductivity Applied Technology Committee of China Electrotechnical Society was held under the support of State Science and Technology Commission and held in Chun'an, Zhejiang Province on August 25-29, 1986. Twenty-one delegates from 21 units from all over the country attended the meeting. Comrade Han Shuo, vice president of the Institute, Comrade Zhang Yunhong and Zhao Runqiao from the State Science and Technology Commission of New Technology introduced the development of foreign superconducting applications at the conference, analyzed the current situation in China, elaborated a number of policy spheres in the current development of science and technology, pointed out the existence of
