The huge oil painting entitled “Guoxue Academy” was created by famous painter Mr. Chen Danqing. The works show the image of five academic masters who have an important influence on the academic history of modern China. From left to right: Zhao Yuanren, Liang Qichao, Wang Guowei, Chen Yinke and Wu Mi. During his ten-year career in Chen Danqing, this was the first topic he toured on the background of real historical figures and humanities. He was also the first large-scale oil painting he created after returning to China in 2000.
