今年是完成“八五”计划的最后一年,也是为实现“九五”计划作好必要准备的一年。新的形势使得防洪保安任务愈来愈艰巨,水资源的供需矛盾愈来愈突出,对我们的防汛抗旱工作提出了更高的要求。
This year marks the final year of the completion of the Eighth Five-Year Plan and also the year in which necessary preparations are made for the realization of the Ninth Five-Year Plan. The new situation makes the task of flood control and security more and more arduous, the contradiction between supply and demand of water resources is more and more prominent, for our flood control and drought relief work put forward higher requirements.
