Fifty-five elements of copper (Cu), zinc (Fe), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg) in 58 pregnant women who were hospitalized were measured, including 24 cases of fetal malformations and 34 cases of normal pregnant women. The results showed that compared with the normal pregnancy group, the Ca and Zn levels in the deformity group were significantly lower than those in the normal pregnancy group (P <0.01), while the serum iron level was significantly higher than that in the normal pregnancy group t test had significant difference (P <0.01). The contents of Mg and Cu in serum of pregnant women with deformity group were also lower than those of normal pregnant women, but the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). Thus, zinc deficiency, calcium, high-speed rail is one of the important causes of fetal malformations.
