On May 22, 2008, the Ministry of Finance, the CSRC, the Audit Commission, the China Banking Regulatory Commission and the China Insurance Regulatory Commission jointly issued the “Basic Standards for Enterprise Internal Control” and will come into force on July 1, 2009. The promulgation of the “Code” marks the important achievements made in the construction of the internal control standard system in our country. It is of great importance for strengthening and standardizing the internal control of enterprises, improving the management level of enterprises, preventing operational risks, and promoting the sustainable development of enterprises.
