杨升庵被誉为明代第一大才子,是继苏东坡之后的百科全书式的传奇人物。杨升庵去世四百五十多年来,虽有《明史》、《明史窃》小传,简绍芳编有《赠光禄卿前翰林修撰升庵杨慎年谱》,但都显简略。这为深入研究杨升庵带来资料性困难。作为杨升庵同乡的倪宗新以一种强烈的学术责任和乡里深情,立志编撰一部翔实、全面的《杨升庵年谱》。他从二○○三年开始搜集资料,耗时近十年,遍访杨升庵当年走过的地方,查阅数十家图书馆、博物馆,不放过蛛丝马迹,认真踏访,细心搜罗,精心编著,汇集成这部三卷本
Yangsheng Temple was honored as the first genius of the Ming Dynasty, following the Su-Su-Po encyclopedic legend.
