Editors-in-chief: ZHANG Lihua and YIN Cunshan The book consists of three parts. Part one briefly introduces Zhejiang Germplasm Resources in both Chinese and English. Part two is the main body of the book, having pictures with Chinese description about Germplasm Resources in Zhejiang. This part summarizes 2,182 rice varieties, including landraces, improved varieties, exotic super varieties and special types of rices. Among them, 408 varieties are important germplasm resources and have detailed description in Chinese and the Phonetic Transcriptions of Chinese Characters for each variety name as well as color, photograph of the plant, panicles, and grains of each variety. The colored pictures were taken from growing rice plants in field. Part two also has a list of 1,774 varieties with their names, serial numbers, origins and types. Part three is the appendix, including method and criterions for identifying characteristics of rice germplasm resources, pedigrees of important varie
