在20世纪二三十年代,中国抗日战争爆发前后,一批外国记者纷纷来到中国,投入并记录了中国的革命事业。海伦·福斯特·斯诺便是其中的一位,她督促并协助丈夫埃德加·斯诺在1936年完成经典之著——《红星照耀中国》,同年她还赴西安采访张学良将军并最早向外界报道了西安事变的成因。随后又亲自到达延安采访了斯诺并未涉及到的包括朱德在内的许多红军将领,完成了《红色中国内幕》一书。
In the 1920s and 1930s, a group of foreign reporters came to China before and after the outbreak of the war of resistance against Japan. They devoted themselves and recorded the revolution in China.
