在1号高炉上,人们应用放射性同位素定量检查高炉耐火材料的磨损,以及进行耐火材料的性能研究。方法是配合筑炉,在耐火材料中放进放射性同位素,在炉外安装接受射线的计数管。计数管和安装在值班室内的电子计数器用电线连接在一起,生产工人利用电子计数器可以测量炉内放射性同位素所具有之放射性强度。根据强度的减弱,生产工人可以准确判断耐火材料的磨损程度。用放射性同
On the No. 1 blast furnace, radioactive isotopes were used to quantitatively examine the wear and tear of blast furnace refractory materials and study the properties of refractory materials. Method is to build furnaces, put radioactive isotopes in the refractory, outside the furnace to install the radiation to accept the count tube. Counting tubes and electronic counters installed in duty rooms are wired together and production workers can measure the radioactivity of radioactive isotopes in the furnace using electronic counters.
