冶金工业部于6月30日～7月4日在重庆召开了全国耐火材料生产促进会议,参加这次会议的有全国54个单位160多人,在会议上各单位作了18个报告。会议的特点是以虚带实,从而促进了耐火材料规划的大跃进。根据会场的“英雄擂台榜”上跃进指标的初步统计,今年下半年全国耐火材料产量将比上半年增产两倍,明年的跃进规划将比今年提高将近三倍。会议上树立了以长兴耐火材料厂为代表的耐火材料工业的红旗。发扬了长兴耐火材料厂等单位白手起
The Ministry of Metallurgical Industry held a national conference on the promotion of refractory production in Chongqing from June 30 to July 4. Over 160 people from 54 units attended the conference, and all units made 18 reports at the conference.
