中国人民政治协商会议第一届全国委员会第四次会议听取了周恩来副主席的政治报告、陈叔通副主席关于会务的报告和郭沫若副团长关于世界人民和平大会的经过和成就的报告,经过小组和大会的热烈讨论以后:一致通过了「关于政治报告的决议」,号召全国各民族、各民主阶级、各民主党派、各人民团体、各界爱国民主人士和国外华侨,在毛泽东主席、中国共产党和中央人民政府的领导下,结成更巩固的人民民主统一战线,一致动员起来,为胜利地完成三大任务而奋斗。会议一致通过「关于支持世界人民和平大会各项要求的决议」,号召全国人民团结一致,并联合国际友人,为实现世界人民和平大会关于缔结五大国和平公约和其它各项正义要求而奋斗。会议一致通过「关于常务委员会会务报告的决议」,委托常务委员俞负责准备召开中国人民政协第二届全体会议,并决定扩大常务委员名额,增选了二十三位常务委员。毛泽东主席在会议闭幕时讲话,号召全国人民加强抗美援朝的斗争、学习苏联、反对官僚主义。毛主席的号召及会议的各项报告和决议,对于进一步动
