一引言我館對於球狀石墨鑄鐵(簡稱球墨鑄鐵或球铁)之究研,開始在1950年7月,最初是從參考有關文献入手,但是各國所發表的文章多偏重於理論,對於製造技術方面多不詳述,所以從事研究非從實地試驗不可。鑄鐵所含之石墨在一般情形下,是成片狀的;它將基塊(Matrix)分裂,使拉力大為減弱,失去引伸度,球墨鑄鐵内之石墨是球狀的無此分裂現象,因之抗拉力强,每方吋可達十二萬
