秦皇岛市是中国老工业基地之一,市内现存的近代建筑(群)也因三个市辖区的不同而呈现出不同的特点。海港区内以工业遗产建筑为主,多为工业厂房或其附属建筑遗存;山海关区内遗存有一定的古建筑以及20世纪初八国联军营盘旧址等相关近代建筑;北戴河区主要以近代修建的别墅群为多。笔者对这个三个不同区域的近代建筑相关资料进行梳理,希冀可以将一个较为完整的近代建筑发展脉络呈现。此外笔者对一些具有共性的建筑特点予以归纳,并对一些特例进行列举。
Qinhuangdao is one of China’s old industrial bases. The existing modern buildings (clusters) in the city also show different characteristics due to the differences of the three municipal districts. In the harbor area, most industrial buildings or their ancillary buildings remain. In the Shanhaiguan area there are some ancient buildings and the related modern buildings such as the site of the coalition camp at the beginning of the 8th century. The main buildings of Beidaihe District are modern villas Many groups. The author sorts out the information about the modern architecture in the three different regions, hoping to present a relatively complete modern architectural development context. In addition, the author summarizes some common architectural features and lists some special cases.
