《义务教育英语课程标准(2011)》明确了英语课程的工具性和人文性,就工具性而言,英语课程承担着培养学生基本英语素养和发展学生思维能力的任务;就人文性而言,英语课程承担着提高学生综合人文素养的任务。课程标准的理念、教材、教师以及学生是英语新课程实施过程的四大要素,教师这一因素在其中起的能动性作用最大。教师必须正确解读新课程标准,努力将新的教学理念通过适当的教学设计落实到我们的课堂中。但在我们的实际教学中,对新课标纲领性指导作用的认识还存在一些不足。
“Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standard (2011)” defines the instrumental and humane features of the English curriculum. In terms of instrumentalities, the English curriculum undertakes the task of developing students ’basic English accomplishment and developing students’ thinking ability. In terms of humanity, English courses assume the task of improving students’ comprehensive humanistic accomplishment. The concept of curriculum standards, teaching materials, teachers and students are the four major elements in the process of implementing the new English curriculum. The role of teachers in this process is most significant. Teachers must correctly interpret the new curriculum standards and strive to implement new teaching concepts into our classrooms through appropriate instructional design. However, in our actual teaching, there are still some deficiencies in understanding the guiding role of the new course standard.
