将污水污泥和元素硫以不同的比率混合, 为了控制混合物的p H, 分别加入石灰( Lim e) 和磷矿石 (reck- Phosphate)。在一定的温度 (30℃) 和湿度 (90% ) 条件下进行培养, 经过9 周的培养证明, 混合物中污水污泥的含量增加, 元素硫的氧化率增加; 碱性环境有利于混合物中元素硫的氧化; 磷矿石对提高混合物中元素硫的氧化率无效。石灰能促进元素硫的氧化, 加入石灰使元素硫的氧化率从098% 增加到3113% 。从而提高混合物做为一种硫肥的肥料价值。
