故城县自2002年被列为河北省防沙治沙示范工程以来,县委、县政府高度重视防沙治沙工作,周密部署,狠抓落实,提高防沙治沙示范工程造林质量,取得了可喜成果。两年来,全县共承担省治沙办下达的防沙治沙示范工程面积1.2万亩,造林成活率达95%以上,面积核实率99.6%,不但使沙化土地得到了治理,生态环境得到了改善,而且为全县的经济发展、农民增收开辟了一条重要途径。为提高防沙治沙工程造林质量,该县在工程实施过程中强化以下四项措施:
