随着我国对外交往的增加,中学英语教学中对学生英语听力的培养受到前所未有的重视。但实际情况是,我们花了很多时间而学生的听力水平却没有较大程度地提高。原因有二。第一,听力材料单一。从内容看,除课文外,大多是些听力测试材料。这些听力测试材料虽然对提高听力有些帮助,但其功能主要是用来测量学生听力水平的高低,不适合听力基本功的训练。从媒体看,局限于单一的录音磁带教学。尽管录音磁带在中学英语听力教学中有相当重要的作用,但英语是一种自然语言,在交流时不仅有声音,还包括说话者的面部表情、手势等体态语,因而单一
