在我的作品中,“我”的概念始终贯穿其中,它有很大的吸引力,它可能是我一生都探求不完的。 “我”是什么?它不是个人的、具体的对象,它是一个中国的、民族的和内心的综合体。对于直接的具体现实我很难激动,我一直痴迷于深藏在现实内部的或是超越具体真实的、一种抽象的精神。它到底是什么?其实我也说不清楚。但我知道它影响着我们的思想,制约着我们的心理,就像人身体的血脉,只要有生命它就存在,且无所不在。这可能就是它吸引我、引领我苦苦探求的重要原因。
In my work, the concept of “I” runs through it all the time. It is very attractive. It may have been an endless stream of my life. What is “I”? It is not a personal, concrete object, it is a Chinese, national and inner complex. I am struggling with immediate concrete reality, and I have always been obsessed with the spirit of abstraction, deep within reality or beyond concrete reality. What is it in the end? Actually, I also can not tell. But I know it affects our thinking, restricts our minds, just like the human body’s blood, it exists as long as there is life, and ubiquitous. This may be why it drew me and led me to search.
