“兴趣是最好的老师。”许多刚接触英语的学生,一开始兴趣特别浓厚,但随着时间的推移,难度的增加,许多学生的学习热情和兴趣也逐渐下降。其原因是教师在英语教学中单纯沿用传统教育模式,把学生纯粹当成知识的容纳器,让他们的学习热情和兴趣大幅度下降。这是目前中学英语教学质量不佳的主要原因。如何激发学生的兴趣并保持它,使它成为学习的动力,是目前英语教学中亟待解决的问题。
“Interest is the best teacher.” Many new-to-English students started out as particularly interested, but as time passed, the enthusiasm and interest of many students gradually declined. The reason is that teachers in the English teaching simply follow the traditional model of education, students purely as a container of knowledge, so that their learning enthusiasm and interest dropped significantly. This is the main reason for the poor quality of English teaching in secondary schools. How to arouse the interest of students and keep it, make it become the driving force of learning, is the urgent problem to be solved in English teaching at present.
