到目前为止,橡皮膜模型只能利用来研究平面电(?)中的电子轨迹,但是旋转对称的电(?)和磁(?)却具有更多的实用价值。这个工作是关于把橡皮膜模型应用范围推广到研究旋转对称的电(?)或磁(?)中的电子轨迹中去,利用熟知的无穷长双圆筒二极管作为检验模型。在这种情形下,得出电(?)分布的实验结果误差是3%左右,轨迹误差6%左右。在磁(?)情形下,是利用螺旋线圈所产生的均匀磁(?)为例子得出电子在均匀磁(?)运动轨迹的实验结果误差在7%左右。
