在艺术作品的经典化过程中,文本的传播是一个非常值得关注的问题。以中国古典小说的传播活动为例,文本改编作为其他艺术样式参与小说文本传播的必要途径,就在小说文本的经典化过程中扮演着重要的角色。借助文本改编,由多种艺术样式共同参与传播的小说文本,更容易在文本的历史流传中获得自己的优势地位。文本改编还可以理解为一种特殊形态的文本阐释方式,正是这种鲜活的阐释方式直接推动了文本的传播,并最终对文本的经典化起到了积极的促进作用。
