中国书法所具有的文化亲和力,是从中国人在国外看到的每一块汉字招牌中凸显出来的,惊异、喜悦、亲切、得意。一个书法爱好者的文化归属感,则是在对汉字的认知、书写工具的使用、笔墨线条历史传承关系的理解及创作的性灵抒发过程中感受到的,因为是这样的一种书写,而获得了中华民族后人特有的文化融入感和自豪感。可以说,每个中国人对中国书法的体认,表现着一种深刻的文化生成性:一方面是中国书法的独特艺术魅力,滋养了一代又一代的文化后人;一方面是一代又一代的文化后人,传承、丰富、积累、创造性地光大着中国书法的艺术传统。因此,我对书法的理解和经久不衰的兴趣源于三个基本点: 一是书法的文化基点。把书法提升到文化的层面上加以理解并不是一件牵强和困难的事情。因为有文字之始,就是书写之始。在器物的层面上,从用刀在甲骨上刻划到用模在钟鼎上浇铸,从用笔在竹帛上书写,再到用墨在纸张上创作,中国书法器
