在我国,英语学习是被当作一门外语来传授的,因此,长期以来,我国的外语教学(本文主要涉及英语教学)实践中,对语法、语音等语言知识的学习一直保持着教和学的重点。这样一种教和学的思路自会收到其独到的效益,比如,通过这样一种思路,学生通过大量的课堂教学和课下的训练,其语法知识、书面理解水平可以得到大幅度提高。然而,几十年的实践经验表明,此种方法最大的弊端在于,学生们无法有效地掌握外语交流的技能。针对此种弊端,上世纪80年代兴起于国外的“自然习得法”则有可能给我们带来一种新的思路。
