随着服装设计领域的不断扩大,现代服装设计的趋势正向扩大人体占有的空间发展。旧的表现形式已远远不能满足设计师的要求,寻找新的服装设计的表现语言,使其更完美地表现设计意图,传达新的设计信息,则成为服装设计表现的新课题。在现代设计的立体构成训练中,我们常用纸构成立体空间形象,那么如何用纸来塑造服装设计的形象?为此,我就纸、空间、服装进行了初步的研究。纸与服装早在古代就有了密切的关系。如为了祭奠亡灵,先人留下了扎纸偶人的习俗。当我们今天在裁剪新装之前,也有利用纸与服装面料的共性,打个纸样子,以求得可行性。我们身边所有的纸材都可以用来表现服装设计。当然不同种类的纸,表现的服装形象也不相同,相同的服装形象用不同的纸材来表现,其效果也迥然不同。我们在运用不同的造型方法中,必须研究纸材的不同性:有光与无光,粗糙与光滑,柔软与坚挺;透明与折光,有色与无色等等;光滑的纸材
