我在1982年第9期《美术》杂志上发表的《创作笔记》中谈到:“表现心地善良的人,表现忠厚朴实的人,表现真挚的情感与人性,表现这些人的生活和风俗习惯,是我在艺术中追求的目标,我对艺术形式的一切探索与追求都是为了这一点。”一转眼十年过去了,但我初衷未改,信念依旧。我认为我对生活中单纯、朴素、自然的真善美的追求,对人与人、人与自然的和谐,对天人合一的理想境界的追求,以及对劳作的美,真诚情感的美的追求都在我的作品中得到了体现。诗言志,画亦如此。我的个性和自我也因此得到充分表现。
