《新疆经济报》创刊至今已近13年,由当年创刊时固定资产不足10万元发展到今天的资产1.5亿元的报业体系。新疆经济报系现在拥有3000余名职工,每日出版量合四开100多个版,日均广告营业额在70万元左右。新疆经济报系报业经营起步应该是从1999年创办《都市消费晨报》开始的。当时《新疆经济报》已创办8年,但报社在财政差额拨款的计划体制内并没有积累到发展资金,除财政拨款给报社建了一栋住宅楼外,基本没有什么资产。是市场经济打开了报社领导班子的眼界。1999年,报社借资400万元,负债经营办起了《都市消费晨报》,并采用市场化的办报机制和发行机制,在报刊市场上闯出了一条路。此后,我们依托《都市消费晨报》又创办了另一张子报《青年快报》。最后,我们成立系列公司进行广告、发行、印刷等多元化经营,形成了今天的报系规模。新疆经济报系的经营发展历程,是严格按照政治家
