Pre-launch Expert System (PLES) is a ground based real-time expert system that not only monitors sensors for each space shuttle subsystem, determines presence or absence of a violation of launch and delivery guidelines (LCC), and causes non-compliant emissions Standard reasons, but also put forward the corresponding measures taken.
