“琴、棋、书、画”自古以来就是我国传统文化的瑰宝,这对于培养学生健康的审美观念和审美能力,陶冶学生的道德情操,培养全面发展的人,具有十分重要的作用。我们围绕国家级课题《城乡:一体化校外教育运行机制的实践与研究》,在创建校外教育艺术特色基地上有着得天独厚的优势。一是我校同时参与了的国家级课题《中澳音乐教育实验项目(电子琴)》的研究,学生人人会弹琴;二是我校所处的浏家港地区有着深厚的文化底蕴,上世纪九十年代被誉为苏州市“中国象棋之乡”,又是江苏省群众体育先进乡镇,一批象棋爱好者在省市级比赛中取得了优异成绩,在这块沃土上弘扬中国象棋意义深远;三是我校有一批优秀的、有一技之长的专业教师,
