之二扼要介绍了中国现代化区域电信传输地震台网观测与数据处理系统(简称768工程系统)于1982年通过验收鉴定并投入正式运转的概况后,主要介绍了该系统的基本处理功能、各分系统的设备与信息流程等特点及其在我国地震观测方面的作用等。
