公元685年10月22日,唐朝皇帝将两只大熊猫送给日本的天武皇帝。1938年5月,我国华西大学向美国赠送一只名为“潘杜拉”的大熊猫,饲养在纽约动物园。
On October 22, 685, the Tang Emperor sent two giant pandas to Japan’s Emperor Tianwu. In May 1938, Huaxi University in China presented a giant panda named “Pandora” to the United States at the New York Zoo.
