山海关是一座历史悠久的古城,有着很多历代遗留的古建筑,其中的石牌坊蔚为壮观,全城街巷林立着40多座石牌坊。在历经六百多年风雨中,大多牌坊遭到了损毁。随着山海关古城保护开发的全面展开,人们从中精心挑选出5座具有重要历史文化价值的明代牌坊重新修复,由东至西依次矗立于朝京古街上。“维藩首善”石牌坊位于朝京古街的最东端。据史料记载,明嘉靖年间,长城
