在计算拱坝的各种作用力时,对其岩石地基的可挠度的计算,当前广泛采用的是著名的福格特法。该方法有以下几条基本假定:(甲)岩石地基被视为各向同性、均匀的弹性体;(乙)岩石地基的变形,与河谷的表面形状无关,仅取决于对假定的半(无限)空间的抗拒载荷的作用力;(丙)为确定岩石地基的变形而使用福格特公式时,应参照美国土壤改良局制订的规范程序。上述头两条假定具有明显的物理意义,并且,对其应用范围能精确地加以确定,至于第丙条假定,即福格特公式的应用程序,却包含着一定的任意性,而从更加完善的计算图式的角度看,对该程序作补充性的评述还是有所教益的。
