云南省保山县水寨公社海棠凹村是个高寒山区,海拨高2300公尺以上,金年霜期六个月以上,积温低,植物生长期短,全村共两个生产队,137户人家,727人。建国以来他们从山区的实际情况出发,扬长避短,因地制宜大力发展林业生产,繁荣了经济改变了贫穷落后的面貌。卅年来,他们造华山松林7663亩,比解放初期有林地面积增长了十四倍,平均每人占有森林11亩,除用材林外,他们还大造经济林,核桃300亩,茶叶50亩,茶果30亩,使森林覆被率达到63%。林业生产发展了,粮食增产了,社员的收入也增加了。山区生产队如 Begonia Au Village, Baoshan County, Yunnan Province, is an alpine mountainous area with an altitude of more than 2300 meters and a golden frost period of more than six months. The accumulated temperature is low and the plant growth period is short. The village has a total of two production teams, 137 households and 727 people. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, they have proceeded from the actual situation in the mountainous areas and played a big role in avoiding weaknesses and developing forestry production according to local conditions. The prosperity of the economy has changed the face of poverty and backwardness. In the past few years, they made 7663 mu of Huashan pine forests, an area 14 times more than that of the early liberated areas, with an average of 11 mu each.
