Lippmann于1922年提出“定型”这一词后,该术语就一直受到学术界的广泛关注,其中“定型会为文化交际带来哪些影响”、“是否能够避免定型”、“如何看待定型”等问题一直是我们学术界讨论的热点。本文通过浅谈定型如何形成的原因,从定型对英语教材的影响的角度切入,以及分析以上的若干问题,探讨如何减小定型对英语教材(英语教学)的负面影响,使其达到向学生正确传达文化信息、客观反应他国文化的目的。
After Lippmann proposed the word “type” in 1922, the term has been widely concerned by the academic community, including “what influence can stereotypes have on cultural communication,” “whether it can avoid stereotypes,” “how to treat stereotypes,” etc. The issue has always been a hot topic in our academic circles. This article discusses the reasons for the formation of stereotypes, from the perspective of the impact of stereotypes on English textbooks, and analyzes some of the above issues, discusses how to reduce the negative impact of stereotypes on English textbooks (English teaching), so that it reaches the students correct The purpose of communicating cultural information and objectively reflecting the culture of other countries.
