我对佳木斯市京、评、话三个直属剧团和原所辖宝清、富锦、依兰、桦南、同江、汤原等九个剧团进行了调查,得出了一条结论:导演是提高剧团演出艺术质量的关键。以上九个团有专职导演的只有京、话两个团,82%的剧团没有导演或只有名义上的兼职导演,平时很少排出什么好的剧(节)目来,观众很难组织。而佳木斯市京剧团创作、排演的新编历史京剧《赵王与无容》(两个导演中一个是中央戏剧学院导演进修生,一个是黑龙江省文艺干校导演进修生)在本市连续演出32场后,两次被邀晋京演出,可说是轰动东北,誉满京华。
