The book “Self-excited Vibration in Engineering” edited by Ding Wenjing, Department of Engineering Mechanics, Tsinghua University has been published by Jilin Education Press. This book deals with the self-excited vibration phenomenon common in various engineering fields. It includes the mechanical system that is caused by friction. Vibration, direction wheel shimmy, self-oscillation of feedback control system, high speed rotor vortex, self-vibration of inflow and outflow pipelines, outflow induced structural self-resonance.
