党的十四大确定了发展社会主义市场经济的新体制,这是我国经济发展的又一伟大变革.这种经济体制的转移,必然对教育产生深刻的影响.作为我国成人教育重要组成部分的电大教育,如何在市场经济的发展中作出积极的反映,这是当前我国电大教育面临的重要课题.一、我国市场经济的发展迫切需要电大教育社会主义市场经济体制的建立,需要多种多样的市场供求和各种类型的专业人才.据有关资料估计,仅需要继续教育的各类专门人才就有4500万人.这些人才仅靠普通高校来培养是远远完不成任务的,而广播电视大学则是完成这一任务的最佳办法.这是因为:
