1950年,政务院发出《关于治理淮河的决定》,1951年毛主席发出“一定要把淮河修好”的伟大号召,40年来,山东的治淮事业取得了巨大成就。今天,我们共同回顾这段冶淮历程,总结治淮的过去,对于丰富我们的治淮经验,更好地指导今后的治淮和整个水利工作,都是一件很有意义的大事。山东省淮河流域面积约占全省面积的三分之一,这里蕴藏着丰富旧煤炭、石油、石膏、铁、金、银、铜等矿产资源,又有比较好的水土资源,
In 1950, the State Council issued the “Decision on the Huaihe River Control,” and in 1951 Chairman Mao issued the great call “We must certainly fix the Huaihe River.” Over the past 40 years, the Huai River administration in Shandong has made tremendous achievements. Today, as we review together this course of rulemaking and the conclusion of the past of governing the Huaihe River, it is a significant event that will enrich our experience of governing the Huaihe River and better guide future flood control and the entire water conservancy.
