井下发生爆炸等事故时,使用美国矿业局研制的新型自动密闭袋。该密闭袋做成像降落伞那样的形状,与以前用的密闭袋相比,在重量及强度方面都比较优越。用一平方码,1/2盎司的尼龙帆布制成18片三角形布,把其缝合制成半球型,再用一平方码、5 1/2盎司的强力尼龙加强半球的边缘(如图1)。该密闭袋由于重量轻,只要有微小的压差,就可以完全密闭巷道整个断面,当将密闭袋固定于巷道四周壁上时,半球边缘的加固尼龙可做为钉入固定器使用(如图2)。该密闭袋全部重量是4 1/2磅,如折叠起
In the event of an explosion downhole, a new type of automatic sealed bag developed by the U.S. Bureau of Mines was used. The closed bag is shaped like a parachute, which is superior in weight and strength to the conventional closed bag. Use a square yards, ½ ounce nylon canvas made of 18 triangular cloth, the suture made hemispherical, and then a square yard, 5 1/2 ounces of strong nylon to strengthen the edge of the hemisphere (Figure 1) . Due to its light weight, the closed bag can completely seal the entire cross section of the roadway with a slight pressure difference.
