如同当年毛泽东同志在论述中国革命战争的规律时,区分过战争、革命战争、中国革命战争等概念一样,今天我们研究精神文明建设也要区分精神文明、社会主义精神文明、社会主义市场经济条件下的精神文明这些既相联系又相区别的概念,而分析的重点则应放到社会主义市场经济条件下的精神文明建设上来。党的十四大报告明确指出,我国经济体制改革的目标是建立和完善社会主义市场经济体制,与此同时,也要加强社会主义精神文明建设。发展社会主义市场经济给精神文明建设提出了哪些新情况、新问题,精神文明建设如何适应并有效地服务于社会主义市场经济,这就是全党面临的一个新课题。
