The younger generation in China’s rise is gradually becoming the decisive force for social development. They both directly benefit from the economic reforms and face the challenges brought about by the reforms. From the perspective of social attributes, they are composed of the second generation of migrant workers or migrant workers as well as undergraduates and graduates. Driven by marketization, monetization and networking, the individualization of the younger generation and the whole society has become a social change The mainstream. The historical position, economic status, value orientation and political orientation of China’s new generation determine that they tend to be politically stable rather than radical, and how to manage the younger generation will be the key issue for future social governance.
