内蒙西部某矿区,早在七十年代即已进行过勘探,认为是一个以铜为主的铜、铁综合矿床.勘探前,曾投入磁法、化探和激发极化等工作,都取得了较好的地质效果.磁法和化探在接触带上有明显而不连续的异常反应:激电中间梯度法获得规模大、形状规则的异常,地质效果尤为突出.这些异常已为深部工程证实,认为激发极化法无论在普查阶段,还是在勘探阶段都起到了应有的作用.
