新课程标准已经明确的指出,在英语教学的环节,要满足不同层次学生的需求,从而使每个学生在学习中都能获得知好的效果,使教学的过程更加的顺利,每个学生在学习中都能有收获。在新课标的带领下,老师在教学中要突出学生的主体地位,应该尊重学生的个体差异,进行有差别性的教学。只有这样,才能使个体得到充分的关注。在因材施教的关键应用到英语教学中时,老师应该针对学生的实际情况,从学生的个体差异出发,进行有的放矢的教学,使学生在学习中都能扬长避短,获得最佳的学习效果。在教学中强调因材施教,也在一定程度上为分层教学提供了重要的理论依据。初中英语阅读教学是培养学生阅读能力的最初阶段,也是初中教学的重点,分层教学的方法可以提升学生的阅读水平,是非常适合初中生的教学模式。
