江南牡丹草(Leontice KiagnanensisP.L Chiu属小檗科植物,别名山玄胡、玉龙擎珠,药用其块茎,其分布于浙江及安徽皖南地区,生长在海拔700～800米的林缘。皖南地区俗称为“江南玄胡”。江南牡丹草有清热解毒、活血化瘀之功效,民间很早就用于治疗跌打损伤,效果较好。此药为新种,药材资源丰富,为了更好地开发、利用,现将江南牡丹草块茎的性状,以及显微、理化方面的初步鉴定,报道如下。
Jiangnan peony (Leontice Kiagnanensis P.L Chiu is a plant belonging to the family Asteraceae, alias Shan Xuan Hu, Yu Long Qing Zhu, and its medicinal tubers, which are distributed in Zhejiang and Anhui provinces in southern Anhui and grow at an edge of 700 to 800 meters above sea level. The area is commonly referred to as “Jiangnan Xuan Hu.” Jiangnan Peony Grass has the effects of detoxification, blood circulation and phlegm-removal, and it has been used for treatment of bruises for a long time and it has a good effect.This medicine is a new species and has rich medicinal resources. The development and utilization of the land is now reported as follows: The traits of tubers of Paeonia suffruticosa, as well as the preliminary identification of microscopic and physicochemical properties are reported below.
